Who can apply to be a speaker?

Any Box user! We are looking for dynamic speakers to share their expert insights and use cases on how their company has adopted and leveraged the Box Content Cloud.

When does the call for speakers close?

The call for speakers will close at 11:59 p.m. PDT on July 1, 2023.

When will I find out if my application was accepted?

Our team will be reviewing applications and will notify all applicants on July 17, 2023.

What is the submission criteria?

We’re asking for speakers to fill out a simple Google form that includes your contact details as well as a topic and brief outline. Please provide specific examples (Box products, integrations, cool use cases) in your submission. We’re interested in hearing your expert knowledge and use case on how your company has adopted and leveraged Box. Note sessions will be limited to 15 minutes. Box is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive event that showcases the contributions of people from all backgrounds.

How long will my presentation be?

Your presentation should be no longer than 15 minutes.

Will you consider my submission for other Box events if I’m not selected to speak at BoxWorks?

Yes! We’d love to utilize your amazing content in our future events, webinars, or blog posts.

Are there specific topics that I need to cover?

We’d love to hear your unique use case but have curated a few suggested topics to help:

If my application is accepted, will I get paid?

While we greatly appreciate your participation, we do not offer any paid opportunities to speakers. This opportunity is completely voluntary.

What format will the sessions be?

Our team will work with you on the best format for your content. Please indicate the format you’re interested in on the google form.

Is consenting to the speaker agreement a requirement to speak?

Yes, all speakers must consent to the speaker agreement that will be provided if you are selected as a speaker.

Can I promote my service and products?

Submissions that pitch services and/or products will not be accepted.

When can I register for BoxWorks?

Registration for BoxWorks will open in mid-late July 2023.
